2021 Update

I figured I'd hop in and give an update.
2021 has been quite the year for me. I started streaming on Twitch again with a new computer system and a new schedule. I've been running with my photography since I picked it back up in Fall of 2020.
I've opened a print shop on Etsy, I've hit affiliate on twitch, I've found a community I can hang with and feel a part of both on and off of twitch that I hope to meet in person some day.
To take it further, I was invited to a Twitch Team the other day which I accepted.
I still have goals to hit in some form or another, but I'm incredibly grateful to those who've helped me hit the ones I already have so soon.

Newport Aquarium Photos and Memories

Finally started to upload the first few photos from the trip!
Sorry it took so long. Things kept popping up and didn't give me a chance to edit them.
Please keep in mind with these photos that I was often shooting through glass and in low light situations, often where I wasn't allowed to use flash. There was no room for me to use a tripod (so I didn't bother taking it).
My best friend, her husband, and I went to Newport Aquarium to celebrate her birthday. It was a wonderful trip and we spent some time wandering around the area including walking across the Purple People Bridge to Ohio and back. I don't have many photos from after the aquarium as we went back to the car and dropped my camera bag off. Part of me wishes I kept it on me for the rest of the time while we were there, but I also just wanted to enjoy the day without having it on my back.
While at the aquarium, I had a could fish pose for me (not kidding, I asked one to turn to the side and it did), Penguins trying to be the stars of the show, and sharks who liked to mess with us (cue Jaws theme here).
In the end, I got some amazing shots, a stuffed Penguin, and a handful of books. Then we crossed back into Ohio to head to a Dave and Busters to finish off the day. No photos from there (but I did win a stuffed Rowlet!).
Other than that, keep your eyes open for more photos from the trip plus more I've captured since then.

A Fresh Start

Hey All!
I said in my last journal that changes were coming and now they're here!
Over the years, I've just been adding photos and not really changing much about the page. Well, to change things up, I've updated quite a bit. All photos from before 2017 are now in a single folder and new/updated folders are in place. I've removed most of what I put in scraps, removed all old journals, and even updated my profile. I'm sure I'll find more to update as I work, but for now, these are the bigger changes.
This came about after I realized just how much my photography, and editing style, has changed. I wanted my DeviantArt to reflect that and now it does.
I'll also be streaming on twitch more soon, which is something that never made its way here to my page before. Stay tuned for updates on that, I'll provide my channel name then.
Anyway, I need to get back to editing. Look for photos from the Newport Aquarium in Kentucky soon!

Changes Are Coming

I realized today that my page is a bit outdated.
So I'll be working on it. I'm not removing art, just moving them to a single folder starting from a year and going back.
This came up as a result from a challenge in a photography group I'm part of on Facebook. I've come to realize just how much my style has changed since i first began, especially over the last couple of years.
I hope to be uploading more often and should have a lot here in the coming days.
